Sensor networks can collect and display information about the environment in real time across a variety of scales.
The sensors shown here are collecting temperature data every 15 seconds on Magnetic Island situated on the Great Barrier Reef.
Please note that presently there is only one sensor on line as we configure the network. Eventually there will be a lare number of collecting nodes which will allow the display of the sptail distribution of temperature.
This has been made possible through the generous support of QPSF, JCU and Ambient Systems
